A New Record!!

Well Done to Lee Glover who broke the record of climbing Binion hill.

Every year our happy campers enjoy a trek up Binion hill to enjoy the spectacular views and the thrill of reaching the top. Sitting 250 metres above sea level, it has always been a favourite on the long list of things to see and do in Clonmany. However few are brave enough to take on the Binion hill challenge of beating the record on how fast to make it up and down. On a calm summers morning Lee did just that. Happy campers gathered all around and there was a great buzz on the campsite as they speculated on whether or not he would be successful on beating the previous record of 31 minutes set two years previously.

Lee set a new record of 25 minutes and 40 seconds to run up and down Binion Hill smashing the previous record! It was a great moment for all involved and a treasured memory for the Binion bayers to have been part of.
